Mountain Dynamics Announces the Immediate Availability of SnowRanger™

First comprehensive series of ski resort trail maps for handheld Garmin® GPS receivers

Tucson Arizona, November 1st 2005: Mountain Dynamics Inc. announces the immediate availability of its first set of SnowRanger ski resort trail maps for Garmin GPSes. Each digital map shows the resort's chairlifts, trails, lodges, terrain parks, roads and parking, tree cover and contours, and more, and can be used with any Garmin GPS that supports downloadable maps. Most importantly the GPS shows skiers or snowboarders exactly where they are on the map, where they have been, and where they are heading.

"It's like a car navigation system for the mountain," said Marcus Needham, Mountain Dynamics' President and CEO. "SnowRanger gives you a bird's eye view of the resort, won't shred like a paper map in the wind, and isn't affected by blinding white-outs."

With ski lift tickets reaching $75 or more this season, SnowRanger helps the skier or snowboarder get the most out of each day, and can be a valuable aid to safety.

The first set includes 18 major resorts in Colorado and New Mexico: Arapahoe Basin, Aspen Highlands, Aspen Mountain, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Buttermilk, Copper Mountain, Crested Butte, Durango Mountain, Keystone, Loveland, Snowmass, Steamboat, Taos, Telluride, Vail, Winter Park, and Wolf Creek.

Future sets planned for 2005/06 will cover California, Utah, the northern Rockies, and the Pacific Northwest, and each set is available for download or on CD-ROM for $29.95.

Full details of the product are available at www.mountaindynamics.com.

Mountain Dynamics was founded by Mr. Needham earlier this year to develop and publish SnowRanger. Previously Mr. Needham co-founded The River Internet Access Co, a regional Internet Service Provider, and has been a software developer since 1987.
