SnowRanger Ski Resort Maps for Garmin® and Magellan® GPS
Don't Get Lost
|SnowRanger Uplink and Snow Days|
|For the 2008/09 ski season we are introducing a major overhaul of our Snow Days and SnowRanger Uplink features.|
Snow Days lets you share the GPS tracks at the end of each day on the mountain, and view and share your activities. Snow Days shows you your statistics, such as runs and vertical feet, graphs of your speed and elevation, and an interactive map of your runs through the day. Your data goes into our leader boards, so you can see how you compare with other skiers/riders at each resort, and for the season overall.
SnowRanger Uplink is an easy to use tool that helps you transfer your data from your GPS into our Snow Days database. If you have a Garmin GPS then you can just plug your GPS into your PC and the Uplink tool does the rest. For Magellan and other GPSes (or if you have saved tracks in the popular GPX file format) you can upload the files from your GPS with the Uplink and the help of your GPS's PC software.
It's easy--and sharing your days is the best way to relive them!
Both features work with nearly all handheld GPS receivers, whether they support SnowRanger ski resort trail maps or not. Amongst the non-SnowRanger-compatible models, they work great with Garmin's Forerunner series of GPS sports watches. With those watches you can even track your heart rate and calories burned while you ski!
