SnowRanger Premium Points of Interest
GPS ski resort trail maps focus on the mountain--the lifts, trails, lodges, tree coverage, etc, that you need to get the most out of your day's skiing or snowboarding.

As we move into our third season we're starting to move "off mountain" and into the wonderful villages and towns at their bases. Starting with Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, and Vail, SnowRanger is being extended to include the streets and businesses (particularly restaurants, bars, and hotels) in the towns.

Whether you're using a large screen nüvi, or a rugged outdoors handheld, you can now search for the nearest coffee, après ski joint, or where your hotel is, right on the GPS screen.

If you have a Bluetooth-enabled nüvi you can even dial the bistro (or the spa!) and make your reservation from the chairlift without even taking your phone out of your pocket!

Finally the detailed street network of the town is shown, including shuttle bus stops, so you can get to and from the slopes with ease and with no time wasted.

The Premium POIs for these four resorts are a standard part of the 2007/08 and sets for Garmin, and will shortly be added to the Magellan versions.

Premium POIs for more resort towns will be added to SnowRanger over the next few months, and since your Garmin download purchase includes free updates through the end of the season, there's no way you'll be missing out!
