On Trams
I just returned from four days in Salt Lake City, with a side trip to Jackson Hole. My reports and tracks are uploaded at:

This is the last year that Jackson Hole is running its 40-year-old , which is causing a lot of sentimental reflection by Jackson Hole old timers. At the risk of sounding like a heathen I am not sure I see the attraction of trams. With a temperature inversion in place the day I was there the long wait for the tram was very cold and standing in ski boots is no fun. I can see of course how the "getting in line at 7:30am on a powder day" ritual must be a lot of fun though.

I found the newer/larger Snowbird tram to be more appealing, with the bulk of the wait being inside, and there even being some benches to sit on after one gets into the loading area.
